Which Three number to call from abroad
Three's contact page lists one number from abroad per customer type, each marked "standard roaming rates apply": +44 7782 333 333 for personal customers and +44 7782 333 500 for mobile broadband customers. We called only the first.
For personal customers, Three says its lines are open 08:00 to 20:00 Monday to Friday and 09:00 to 18:00 Saturday and Sunday. It names no time zone, presumably UK time, and gives no separate hours for mobile broadband.
In the UK, the same page gives 333 from a Three phone and 0333 338 1001 from any other phone for personal customers, and 500 or 0333 338 1003 for mobile broadband.

Call Three from your browser
Browzerphone dials +44 numbers from a browser tab, with no SIM card and nothing to install, and the keypad for the menu is in the same tab. Three's numbers from abroad are UK mobile numbers, and calls to UK mobiles cost more than calls to UK landlines, so check the rate for UK mobiles on the rates page before you call.
Without credit, Browzerphone only allows a free trial call, and it ends after one minute. That is enough to hear the menu, but not to wait for help, so top up first.
