From abroad, call Barclaycard on +44 1604 230 230, the number its contact page gives for calling from abroad, Monday to Saturday, 9am to 5pm. Our test call from Poland on 20 October 2026 reached a menu with 1 for a lost or stolen card and 2 for general servicing or anything else. When we pressed nothing, the system moved on by itself, asked for the card number on the keypad and then asked us to say in a few words what we were calling about; nobody answered in the 90 seconds we listened.

Which Barclaycard number to call from abroad

Under "Phone numbers for Barclaycard", Barclaycard's contact page gives +44 (0)1604 230 230 for calls from abroad, Monday to Saturday, from 9am to 5pm. From the UK the number is 0333 200 9090. From abroad you dial it as +44 1604 230 230, without the 0 in brackets.

The same page lists +44 (0)1604 230 230 as the international number for emergency card replacement and cash advance (Visa cards only), Monday to Sunday, 24/7, including bank holidays, and for Internet Customer Services.

Some cards have their own line. For Barclaycard Avios Plus, the page gives +44 (0)1604 252 841 for calling from abroad, Monday to Sunday, 24/7, including bank holidays. For Amazon Barclaycard it gives +44 (0)800 151 0157 from abroad, Monday to Friday from 8am to 8pm, and Saturday and Sunday from 8am to 6pm. We did not call these two numbers. A UK 0800 number is not reachable from every country or every phone, even with +44 in front, so if it does not connect, use +44 (0)1604 230 230.

The Barclaycard app as an alternative

Barclaycard says that if you have a Barclaycard, you can send it a message from the Help section of the Barclaycard app or online servicing, and that you can also call it directly using the app. It describes this as a secure way to talk to it without having to answer security questions.

For a lost, stolen or damaged card, the contact page says you can cancel your card in the app by selecting "Your cards" and "Report lost or stolen", and that you can also order a replacement card there.

Call Barclaycard from your browser
