T-Mobile customer service number from outside the US
Under "Need help while traveling internationally?" T-Mobile lists International Customer Service on 1-505-998-3793. It is an ordinary US number, not a toll-free one, and from abroad you dial it as +1 505 998 3793. T-Mobile explains the cost: "All calls made to this number from a T-Mobile handset are free from roaming, airtime, or long-distance charges. Calls made to this number from landlines and non-T-Mobile phones will incur international long distance charges as well as any other additional charges that may apply."
T-Mobile gives no separate hours for this number. For its Customer Care representatives in general it says they are available daily from 4 a.m. to 9 p.m. Pacific Time.
- 1Dial +1 505 998 3793. If your phone cannot enter +, use the international exit code of the country you are in instead.
- 2For Spanish, press * at the start.
- 3When asked, enter or say the 10-digit T-Mobile number you are calling about, area code first, or say "I don't have one" if you are a new customer.
What the T-Mobile international line asks for
Our test call on 20 October 2026 went out through Browzerphone's US phone provider from a US (+1) number, not from a T-Mobile phone, so it was a call within the US and does not show what a T-Mobile phone abroad hears. The line is automated: before anything else it wants the T-Mobile number you are calling about, typed or spoken. Without it, the line points you to 611 or 1-800-937-8997 and ends the call; in our test that happened after about a minute and a half, and nobody answered.
T-Mobile Customer Service in the US: 611 and 1-800-937-8997
For customer service in general, T-Mobile says: "Dial 611 from your T-Mobile phone or call: 1-800-937-8997." The 1-800 number is US toll-free and T-Mobile does not say it works from abroad, so on a phone abroad it may not connect. We did not call it. The international line above is the one T-Mobile names for travellers.
Call T-Mobile from your browser
Calls from a phone other than a T-Mobile one are not free anyway. Browzerphone dials +1 numbers from a browser tab, with no SIM card and nothing to install, and shows the price per minute before you call; the rates page lists it for the United States. The keypad for entering your number is in the same tab.
Without credit, Browzerphone only allows a free trial call, and it ends after one minute. The greeting and privacy notice alone took about 20 seconds in our test, so top up first.
