How to call NatWest from abroad

From abroad, call NatWest on +44 3457 888 444 for everyday banking, the overseas number on its Contact us page for general enquiries about personal accounts; for a lost or stolen card the overseas number is +44 1268 500 813. All three of our test calls from Poland on 14 October 2026 went through. The system starts by asking you to say in a few words why you are calling: there is no keypad menu at that point, and the keypad comes in only for later yes or no questions.

Which NatWest number to call from abroad
On its Contact us page, NatWest gives +44 3457 888 444 as the overseas number for Telephone Banking and general enquiries about personal accounts. The UK number is 03457 888 444. NatWest asks you to have your customer number and PIN ready, the same details you use to log in to Online Banking.
NatWest's Telephone Banking page lists a different overseas number, written as 0345 030 3605, which from abroad you dial as +44 345 030 3605. That page says the lines are open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, and asks for your customer number, PIN and password. In our test both numbers reached the same system.
NatWest notes that the cost of your call depends on the phone line you use.

Lost or stolen card, and fraud
For lost or stolen cards and cheque books, NatWest gives +44 1268 500 813 from overseas. NatWest asks you to tell it straight away if you think your card has been stolen or someone may know your PIN.
Fraud on a personal current account is reported on +44 3457 888 444 from overseas, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. For fraud on a personal credit card the overseas number is +44 1268 508 020, also 24 hours a day. NatWest says it will ask you security questions to confirm who you are.
If NatWest has contacted you and asked you to call back, its overseas number for that is +44 131 549 8888.
We did not call the lost card, credit card fraud or call-back numbers, and on +44 3457 888 444 we did not try the fraud option.
Call NatWest from your browser
Browzerphone dials +44 numbers from a browser tab, with no SIM card and nothing to install, and charges per minute at a published rate that you can check before you call. You speak to the NatWest system through your computer's microphone, and the keypad for 1, 2 and 0 is in the tab.

How do I report a lost NatWest card from abroad?
Call +44 1268 500 813, which NatWest lists for lost or stolen cards and cheque books from overseas. If you think the card was stolen or someone may know your PIN, NatWest asks you to tell it straight away.
Is there a NatWest menu with numbers to press?
Not at the start. On our test the system asked us to say why we were calling and offered no keypad options. After we said "I would like to hear the balance of my account", it used the keypad for yes (1), no (2) and the main menu (0).
What do I need when I call?
NatWest asks you to have your customer number and PIN ready, the details you use to log in to Online Banking. Its Telephone Banking page also mentions your password.
Is the call free from abroad?
NatWest says the cost of your call depends on the phone line you use. What you pay depends on your provider and your plan.
